Trial of costumes on Dancers

Our second batch of costumes arrived for the dancers. We quickly found a time for Maddy and Eden to try on the trousers, in which they looked good and fitted well.

We then tried on the heels ourselves. I am a 6-6.5, whilst Saskia is a 5.5 shoe size. We tried on the heels for ourselves, Saskia found them to fit her, whilst I found them too small. This gave us some doubt about whether they will fit the dancers.

To our surprise they did fit both Maddy and Eden, however, Maddy found them too big and therefore extremely difficult to dance in. The dancers pointed out that there is no strap on them, meaning it would be incredibly difficult and uncomfortable to dance.

We thought about putting straps on the shoes, but we thought there was no point to that as they don't fit in terms of size anyway.

We therefore discussed with the girls whether they have their own shoes that they can use. The dancers have black heels with straps, however, they acquire different features and appearances on them. We discussed this problem, and thought that as long as all 3 pairs of heels looked different, it would be as effective as if they were all identical.

We also got them to try on the catsuits that Elizabeth provided us with. These were baggy and cheap, and we decided on the spot that we wouldn't use them. Again, we discussed with the girls on what they own. For the screens, we think it would be just as good for them to bring in a tight pair of leggings and a tight crop top, all black. We will still get the silhouette, and it solves us the problem of budget, sizing and comfort.
