Looking for a lead singer

With the backup dancers in mind, we also started looking for the singer. We agreed this must be an ethnic woman, to match the genre conventions and the voice of the artist. We need someone who could be a diva: sassy and confident to be able to pull off the dance. We would also need her to lip sync well and if possible, dance well.

We started considering an ex-student, Simy. We have seen her in Hurtwood music videos before and we know that she would be able to pull off the look and performance. However, as she is no longer at school, she would have to shift her schedule to fit around ours if interested.

We also looked at Anjuli and Nandi. We will observe these during the dance audition.
