Official Test Shoot

We gave Nandi, our singer, a few weeks to learn the lyrics. And the remaining of the half term to learn them word for word. This is so we could do a test shoot before we broke up for the holidays. I ran 3 test shoots - the first was a run through of the lyrics, with the lyrics up on a screen so she could go through them. I told her that the best thing she could do is that actually sing the lyrics, and I would mute it in post-production.

The second time: I told her to perform with sass and confidence, referring to Beyonce and Rihanna and other artists who conform to those conventions. I also told her to look to the camera, as this is what she would do on the shoot day.




We ran another test shoot for luck.
